Definitely number four for me, which made me lol!

Larry, won't you tell me about your favourite duck on Facebook?

@SA I do not even know who you are 'on Facebook'.

It would seem way too narcissistic to pick my own entry...:p

My choice then goes to #2...the wording is horrible but the picture superb. A lowering sky redolent with atmosphere.

It was fun doing it Holly, hope you enjoyed the entries.

Number 3 for me. Somehow, it stirs emotions and brings back memories.

It's a toss-up between number 2 and number 6 for me, Holly, depending on how you're feeling when recording the album, tempestuous or pacific ;). From a purely photographic point of view though, I prefer number 2 :).

There were some really unfortunate band names in this, the pictures generally very good, and some interesting song titles (a few philosophically deep). Given the aim is for you to write a song, the song titles I prefer are 1, (can't vote of mine), 7 and 9. So 2nd place to No 9 with the nicest cover and layout but odd band name, but my tuppence of a vote is for No 7 (layout good, band name interesting and song title seems do-able).

I think David has it right ; it would have been nice to have been able to swap some of the band and/ or song titles round . However , given that this is not possible , like David , in order to give Holly the best starting point for her song , I too would go with No 7 . Well done , everyone ; an interesting and enjoyable exercise .

Since everything else is random, I started to use random voting. A random song to follow? :)

Nice idea , Larry , but how would you do it ? The only way I can think of would be to print off the little pictures from the Comments page , jumble them up , put them in a bowl and then have a friend ( with eyes closed ) draw one out . That would as random as I think you could make it . Is that what you had in mind ? The outcome could prove a real challenge for the songwriter . Good fun though.

Number 2 floats my boat. It's very reminiscent of certain parts of the south coast of the Island.

Number 4 I guess, but it's hard to choose though. Kinda depends on my mood.
