Today I've been revising again. What a surprise! lol. I also took a bit of time out to re-pot my plants. I tell you - it's really hard work - it was really warm today. (and I didn't even get a tan! lol) Oh well.

I'd better go now, it's getting late.

Well, I've just finished watching Britain's Got Talent and I'm off to bed soon. I'm really pleased that Diversity won. Their choreography was absolutely incredible. I'm not usually a fan of dance groups but they were simply amazing. I was reeeeeeally surprised that Susan Boyle didn't win as she has followers all over the world. I wonder how she'll take her loss. She's been catapulted into the limelight and now she'll probably just fade into the background. Well possibly not. I don't know. I expect she'll feel like a huge weight has been lifted off her shoulders.

Today I've been revising Lyrical Ballads by Wordsworth and Coleridge. I think I've finally got the hang of understanding them! lol. When I read them in my head, they make very little sense to me...but today I tried reading them aloud and it really helped me to understand them. Especially the more conversational poems like 'The Nightingale' and 'Tintern Abbey'. They flow beautifully.

My festival slot was confirmed today too. :) I'm playing a 45 minute set on the Saturday of the festival on a small stage in a cafe tent - which is really cool. Apparently they have big cushions and stuff for people in the tent to sit on. It just sounds really cuppa tea. :)

I'd best be off now, bedtime.

I'm back home now. :) Back to the proper revising tomorrow. Ben and I did a bit out in the sun today but I need to start again with a vengeance tomorrow.

I went out to water the plants this evening too which was very relaxing. Now I'd best be off.

A Thursday

Hellooooooo! :) It's currently 4 minutes past midnight here, but I'm guessing it's still yesterday in America? ;)

I'm currently at Ben's house. We met this afternoon and went for a nice walk along the seafront and got a reeeeeeeeally nice ice cream. Peach and mango :) mmmmmmm...

When we got back to Ben's he made me some tea (curry :) yummyyyyy...) with jelly and fruit for pudding! I LOVE jelly! :) and then we played Mario Kart on the Nintendo Wii for ages and now we're just watching a bit of telly before going to sleep. (QI (with Stephen Fry) brilliant programme!)

Anyway I'd better go now. :)

Is the P.S longer than the rest of it? :-S

Today has been a raaaaaaaainy day. I've just been doing music revision, a baroque counterpoint exercise, german exercises and caught up on some comments etc.

Donna and Brooke came round earlier too which was good. :)

I'd better go now, ich bin müde...

Holly xxxxx

P.S - I'm very sorry this is so short! :-S I'll try to write a tad more tomorrow. I'll be at Ben's, but I'm sure he won't mind letting me use his laptop for a couple of minutes. :)

Will you Ben? ;)

Howdy chums. :)

Today I went to the school that I do half of my music course at to do a booster session. Our teacher very kindly came in for the day to teach us and also took us to Pizza Hut! Which was really cool. :) I was there (at the school) from 10 until about 3.15 and then I had my German lesson this evening.

Mum made some cakes today which were WELL tasty. :) Hooray! Nothing beats Mum's cooking.

I'd best be off now.

Well hello there... :)

I thought I'd take a few photos of my tomato plants - they've grown a lot since last time! Ready?......

How cool! They're so big! lol. Dad's are starting to bud now so he's going to replant them. Mine haven't yet - so it doesn't look like I'm going to win the race! But his ARE a different variety AND I planted mine a couple of days later.

Whilst in the garden earlier I found a snail. I don't know what it is about snails but I really really like them! lol. Ok, I always was a bit of an oddball, but I think they're fascinating. I remember collecting them when I was younger and hating having to let them go at the end of the day! I think I might start a little snailarium one day. :)

Here's the biggy...

What a beaut. I just have to show you another one... :D

This one needs a caption...can you think of one? ;)

I found a 'few' more after him too - just a small pic this time...

Ok...I'd better stop with the snail pics now (Mum's probably despairing ;))

Biology is a subject that really interests me. I did AS Level Biology. I enjoyed it a bit but I don't think I'm that good. It'll definitely be an interest of mine in the future.

I'd best be off now.

P.S - I had a bit of good news today - I might be playing on a small stage at the Isle of Wight Festival. :) Bit cool. :) I'll keep you posted.

For Larry

I'm just off to bed now, but before I go I'd just like to say a big thankyou to Larry for all of his brill comments. :) And also I'd like to say - yes, you are on the right page ;) revising = studying = boringness! lol. Well...not always boringness. It depends what the topic is.

I'd best be off now,

Night night xxxxx

P.S - My tomato plants are getting pretty big now - I'll try to post a picture tomorrow! Sleep well xxx

Another Saturday

Today was a day of revising for my Music exam, having lunch, re-potting some plants and then doing some reading for English. And now I'm really tired.

I should go to bed now otherwise I won't be able to get up in the morning! lol

I'll try to write something a bit longer and more interesting tomorrow. :-S

Night night xxxxx

P.S - The photo we had taken yesterday was taken by a proper photographer so I don't have the photo yet. :(

Friday, 22 May 2009

Today was the last 'official' day of school. We still have to go in for exams, but not for lessons. We had a photo taken of the leavers which was good. :) (I got to stand next to Ben :D) I'm sure it'll be really funny looking back on it in years to come!

I'd better go now as I fear I'm just going to be rambling on about the same thing.

And also I can feel my eyelids beginning to droop!

Wow. I have very little to write about again today. I'm very sorry.

I've been thinking about my CD today. I really need to set a definite target as to how much I'm going to spend on the CD. I need to work out a list of everything that I'm going to need. Producer? Session musicians? Promotion? It's going to be difficult but I'm raring to go (after the exams). :) Not long now...

I'd better go now, I'm sorry it's such a short post. :(

What rocker?

Today was the last episode in series 5 of Waterloo Road. I'm very sad. 20 whole episodes. Gone. Just like that.

I'm soooo looking forward to the holidays. I don't have long to go now. Less than a month - of which one week is holiday. Not in the usual holiday sense of the word though. It'll be jam packed with revision. It's scary how little time I have left. AAAAH!!! I expect I'll only be able to write a few lines each night during the holidays. I plan to eat, sleep and breath revsion otherwise I won't feel that I've tried my best. It's the final push and then no more school! It's such a weird feeling. Doesn't quite feel real yet - it's like I've got this little voice in the back of my head saying "Yeah right - a time of no school, no stress, no homework, no coursework - I'll believe THAT when I see it!!!" I'm just eager to prove it wrong now! lol.

I'd better go now, I think I'm going off my rocker. (If Ben is reading this he's probably thinking 'Did she ever have a rocker to start with?')

I really don't have much to report today either. Wow, how boring am I? :-S I had my German lesson this morning at school, then got home and revised German before having a German lesson again this evening.

I don't know what it is about the German language that I like. I've always liked it ever since I started learning in Year 6 (that means I was 10/11 years old). In year 9 (13 Jahre alt ;)) I had to learn Spanish and I really wasn't too keen. :-S I wonder what it is that attracts me to the language? I'd love to find out that our family has not too far distant German connections, I guess that would be a kind of explanation.

I get a bit frustrated sometimes when learning German though. I'm not very confident with speaking it and I really want to get good at it. I'd like to spend a bit of time in Germany during my gap year to improve my language skills and for a bit of a different experience. :) I'm not very well travelled - and I'd like to change that.

Anyway, I'd better go to bed now.

Tschüss! ;) xxxxx

Lazy Days

Hello thaaaaaaar :)

Not really much to report today either! I got my results back for a mock exam on War Literature and I got an A! Hooray! It's a shame it wasn't the real thing! :-S

I only have a week left of proper school. Next week we have a holiday and after that the exams start with a vengeance. And when they finish, school ends! It's strange to think that after about 14 years of school it's all going to end. A very odd sensation. I remember after finishing my GCSEs (the compulsory bit of school) I felt at a complete loose end. It's strange thinking that you don't HAVE to do anything. I'm quite looking forward to that feeling though. Just lazing down the beach with my lovely Ben, writing songs, making videos, growing plants, watching Alan Rickman films...just the thought of it is making me tear up! lol. I got an Alan Rickman film (Rasputin) for my 18th birthday and I haven't even taken it out of the plastic yet because I've had so little time! Unbelievable.

Anyway I'd better go to bed now,

Night night xxxxx

P.S - When the summer holidays arrive I'm going to put on one of my favourite Enya tracks. I've been holding off playing it so that it can be my treat/reward for getting through the exams!

Here 'tis... (I haven't listened to it yet!)

Hi everyone,

Not really too much to report today - I've been working on this video all day...

I'd better go to bed now - school tomorrow!

A Saturday

Today I've been to trying to record a song as a bit of a break. An electronic sounding one. I tried to record my 'passionate' one but it just wasn't working. I get really frustrated when I try to record stuff now as I can't seem to progress. I'm really looking forward to going into a studio one day so that I can have a professional sounding record.

Anyway, I was trying to finish the electronic sounding one so that I could upload it here. - So I finished it and then listened back to it and it sounded absolutely rubbish, so I thought I'd preserve your ears and not upload it.

I guess I could post the lyrics...but they wouldn't really mean much...

The mind is like a parachute, won't work until it's opened,
The love is like an onion she said; 'moon wrapped in brown paper'.
If only the whole world could feel the power of harmony,
Dreams are true whilst they last and do we not live in dreams?

The poetry is in the pity
Melodies of joy
Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart
The best things in life are not things
To begin, begin
If music be the food of love play on, play on...

It's not the place in which you stand, it's where on earth you're going
It's who you are and how you live to tell the tale tomorrow
If only we could see the best in every single word
Then as we forget the pain we'll finally be one world

The poetry is in the pity
Melodies of joy
Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart
The best things in life are not things
To begin, begin
If music be the food of love play on, play on...

The poetry is in the pity
Melodies of joy
Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart
The best things in life are not things
To begin, begin
If music be the food of love play on, play on...

They may look strange written down, but can you see what I've done? :) Kudos to anyone who notices the pattern. :)

I'd better go now as it's quarter to midnight.

I watched a really really good program earlier about Wilfred Owen. If anyone's interested in having a look then you can watch the program on the BBC iPlayer sometime - it's not available at the mo but I'll post the link when it is.

Friday, 15 May 2009

I was thinking earlier - image is a strange thing. Thinking about how you to look, trying not to care about how you look. Image is something I tend to think about quite a bit. I don't mean that I spend a lot of time thinking about how I want to look, but I think about the subject as a whole.

I think I'm quite a fickle person. Maybe fickle isn't the right word. I'm a girl who changes her mind quickly. Today I want to be a music teacher, tomorrow I want to be a policewoman, today I want to be individual, outgoing, tomorrow I want to hide behind dark glasses and a polo neck top.

This becomes quite a problem when choosing what to wear or deciding how I want people to perceive me, and as I don't even understand me it's hard to decide how I want them to understand me.

I find the hardest thing is to be individual. I'm oversensitive and not very confident so say for example...
If I was feeling particularly 'individual' and confident one day and decided to wear something that I wouldn't usually be brave enough to and...say...I walked past a group of girls who giggled as I went by (probably about something completely unrelated) then my confidence would plummet and I'd feel awful about myself for the rest of the day.

I am getting better - but I find it so hard not to care what others think. I'd love to have the confidence not to care at all.

To be honest I think losing a little bit of weight might help there. I just want to have a flat belly! lol. I don't mean that I want to be skinny, I just need to tone up my flabby tum really! Then I'd feel like I had more of a choice about what clothes I could wear. I'm quite tall - 5 foot 10 - but I weigh about 11 stone. Ideally I'd like to be 10...but I like cake! lol. I know that I just need to exercise more. Anyway...

Yes, image is a weird thing. There are so many influences in the world, it's hard to know what IS individual. I guess the answer is that nothing is. Everything is made up of/has been influenced by something else. It's just a unique combination of a variety of influences which makes each of us individual.

I'd better go to bed now as it's getting late.

The exam went ok by the way - fingers crossed anyway! 1 down - 6 to go!

Night night xxxxx

P.S - Every so often I think I'll attach a video that I particulary like to watch at the end of the post. Here's one that I'm loving at the mo. :)

Video of the moment! lol...

Thursday, 14 May 2009

Today I've been writing a song (amongst other things). So I thought I'd write a little bit about my thought processes when writing a song - it might even help me to understand what I'm doing a bit more! Because there's no set formula writing each song is a whole new experience.

1. Firstly I have to be feeling really really strongly about something. Sadness, disappointment, happiness, excitement, passion...(note the more negative feelings came first in that list - they're generally easier to write about. For me it's because I'm more inclined to keep all of the negative feelings inside, and writing a song is a bit like writing a letter telling someone about your feelings - but with more emotion - and you don't have to send it to feel better!)

Yes, so - I have to have a really strong feeling about someone, something, a certain situation or the way someone has made me feel. I'm getting to the stage now where I have a really strong feeling and then I absolutely have to write a song - otherwise it feels like I'm going to explode!

Today the feeling was 'passion' - don't ask why! I have no idea where that came from.

2. After having the really big feeling I fiddle about on the guitar and find a chord sequence/plucking style that I think connects with the style I want to try to convey in the music.

3. After that I literally just sing along to the chord sequence - using the first words that come into my head. After I have a whole verse and a chorus I just find more words to fit the pattern that I have already used.

It's a very natural kind of process. A song is really just a tiny bit of inspiration that has been developed into a few minutes worth of music.

It's like a journey through a dark tunnel really. The only light you have is the flame that made you passionate enough to want to write the song - and it carries you forward, but sometimes takes you off on a detour.

The song I started writing today began as a song about a crush. And about never being able to show how you feel. Because it wouldn't be morally right or whatever. Or maybe you just don't have the guts.

But as the song developed it became one about seduction! - More the idea of doing something on the spur of the moment and daring to do something that you wouldn't usually dream of doing. Quite a different one for me really. It's not quite finished though. - At the rate it's changing at the moment it'll be about fairies or something by the time it's finished!

I'm looking forward to working on it again after the exams - not long to go now! Just over a month. And a month goes pretty quickly. And my hair should've grown at least half an inch by that time...surely? :)

Anyway, I'd better go now. I have a German exam tomorrow. - It's OK - I've been listening to Nena! And also read a really good interview with her called "Wir beide verstehen uns nicht!" - Sehr interessant!!!

Gute Nacht, schlaf gut und träum süß xxxxx

Hello hair. Or should I say "Goodbye?"

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd give you a quick peek at my hair. Mum took some photos today. Hopefully it won't be too much of a shock now when I put a video on. It's a tad boring. Anyway I'll stop making excuses and put a few pics on...

Holly looking at a travel brochure and being a bit stupid...

And it still goes up! :) Hooray!

Being a tad silly (again)...

Anyway, yeah that's my hair. I'm just going to try to make the most out of it and do what I can with it whilst I'm waiting for it to grow!

I'd better go now,

Night night xxxxxxx

P.S - I was just thinking - my music teacher called me a perfectionist today - which I guess I am...but what's the point in being a perfectionist if you can't get things perfect? Well I guess that's the point! :-S

I got my haircut and I'm not that keen. I think I should work on finding updo styles now. Maybe I'll just wear it like I did in Beautiful Deceit all the time. It still goes like that. There's nothing really wrong with it though. I'd just prefer it if it were a tad longer. At the mo it's in between a bob and longer hair. I don't know.

I think I'm going to have an early night tonight. I know it's only 7.30 but I feel pretty tired.

Anyway, I'm off.

Hair and Headphone Discos

Tomorrow I'm going to get my hair cut - I booked my appointment on Saturday. I think I'm going for a long-ish bob, but I'm really not sure, I'm just trying to find a photo to take with me. I just feel like I want to try things out. I'm getting a bit fed up with having long hair so am going to try a little shorter.

I went REALLY short once when I was about thirteen, and didn't really like it, but I don't plan on going THAT short this time...argh I'm so confused! lol

Well, by tomorrow I would've had SOMETHING done! lol :-S (that was a nervous laugh)

I have my first proper exam this Friday - my AS-Level German resit. I'm quite nervous. I've been preparing lots though so I shouldn't be. I only just realised today how little time I have left at school.

It'll be sad leaving all of my friends, though I guess we'll still meet up. It'll also be weird still being on the island whilst they're all off at Uni. I'm actually quite looking forward to Uni now. I'm thinking more about Surrey now - the Creative Music Technology course - it's the offer that I've accepted. I just need to get BBC grades for my A-Levels and I should be in. I think that's the one I'll choose. (They even do a module in Celtic music! :))

When Dad and I went to have a look at the Uni we were taken on a tour and the students told us about these headphone discos they have. There are two DJs at the front of the room and each member of the audience is given a set of wireless headphones and they can choose which DJ they'd like to listen to. Apparently it's really funny as the room is just filled with lots of people who a shuffling about and muttering the words to different songs. :D It sounds like my cuppa tea! :)

Anyway, I'd better go now,

Lots of love,

If You Could Read My Mind...then this blog wouldn't be of much use!

I think I should probably explain about the 4 mile space hop. :)

I'm going to try to space hop 4 miles along a local cycle track in order to raise money for the charity Building Schools For Africa (which I was trying to organise the gig for). I'm not really that physically fit so it'll be a bit of a challenge - but it's for such a good cause - I'm sure I'll be ok with some/a lot of practice.

Today I re-potted my pepper plants - they're getting all grown up too now! In the bigger pots like the tomatoes. Bless their little cotton socks.

I've also been doing lots of German revision for my exam on Friday - making sure I get my prepositions right, checking that I know the passive, adjectival endings etc....

I've been listening to "If You Could Read My Mind" by Gordon Lightfoot a lot today. It's a wonderful song. I love the words especially...and the melody. :)

I always thought that the melody was the most important things when writing songs. I'm not so sure now. Well, it is EXTREMELY important, but even if you have a brilliant melody it doesn't mean the song will be brilliant. It helps I guess, but without the right chords, the right arrangement, the right instruments, the right balance between all of them, the song might be a bit of a failure.

Personally, I think it's all down to luck as to whether a song works or not. lol :) ...and trying and trying and trying until you're happy with the end result.

Anyway, I'd best be off to bed.

I'll leave you with this song...another one I like a lot at the mo. I wonder if I could try writing one with synths at some point? :)

Night night xxxxx

Hi again,

Honey Don't...I mean it. :P

Hi everyone,

Today has been a day of work, work, a pot noodle and a bit more work. I've been working on a presentation for my music lesson tomorrow. It's taking me ages because I want to make it interesting.

It's about 'Honey Don't' by Carl Perkins. Rockabilly isn't really my favourite genre but now I know all about it! lol - perhaps not everything - but I'm actually finding it more interesting than I thought I would. Perhaps I'll post my PowerPoint presentation here when I've finished (and I've worked out how to!).

I ought to go to bed now, I'm sorry this has been a very short and boring post. I'm exhausted! I've just realised that I've spent about 12 hours on this far! :-S

Tomorrow's post should be more interesting - a space-hopper arrived in the post today - I'll explain tomorrow. ;)

Camping! Part 2

Right, now where was I? :)

So we reached the Needles and took some more silly photos including this one...

The Needles consist of some bits of rocky stuff sticking out the sea (made of chalk) & also a lighthouse at the end of them. The 'rocky stuff' is chalk.

Hang on. I've just found a more sophisicated description for you!

The Needles is a row of three distinctive stacks of chalk that rise out of the sea off the western extremity of the Isle of Wight, England, close to Alum Bay. A lighthouse designed by Scottish civil engineer James Walker has stood at the western end of the formation since 1859.
The formation takes its name from the former fourth needle-shaped pillar called Lot's Wife that used to stand in its midst until it collapsed in a storm in 1764. The remaining rocks are all short and squat and not at all needle-like, but the name has stuck.

Wow! I didn't know that! Thanks Wikipedia! :) Here's a pic of what The Needles used to look like before the other one fell down...

Well now THAT is pretty cool. :)

Oooh I just need to steal, ahem, I mean 'borrow' something else from Wikipedia:

The Needles are inextricably linked with Alum Bay, and a major tourist draw. Scenic boat trips operating from Alum Bay offering close-up views of the Needles are very popular. The rocks and lighthouse have become icons of the Isle of Wight, and are featured on many of the souvenirs sold throughout the island.

'Tis true, 'tis true! :) Alum Bay is VERY touristy - Ben and I visited there to get a bite to eat - it was quite busy and there were a lot of mainlander tourists. We looked like proper grockles too - me with my camera around my neck and my funky backpack on! :) At Alum Bay there is a big carousel - I remember absolutely loving it when I was younger. We saw it again on Sunday and found that one of the horses is called Ben! So I made a point of taking a picture. :)

Hehe. :)

After walking around Alum Bay, Ben and I walked up to the Old Battery - a place where rockets used to be tested. We walked around the underground testing rooms (which was very eerie) and bought some pasties for lunch. I think the lady behind the counter took a bit of a shine to us - we were talking to her about how cheese pasties are nicer when they're cold because they're cheesier - and she offered us a free chocolate egg each as we were going out the door. I just smiled and said "Oh no thankyou - thankyou very much anyway though!" But Ben said to me afterwards "What did you do that for?! You turned down FREE chocolate?!" Oops!

Here's a pic of the cliffs at Alum Bay - this was the view behind us as we were walking towards the Old Battery.

After visiting the Old Battery we started walking along Tennyson Down, which was stunning. There's not really a lot I can say about it. It was a really lovely walk.
Here's the view across the Down looking towards Tennyson's Monument - you can see it in the distance...

And here's a big photo of Holly with Tennyson's Monument...

I felt quite in awe - I wrote a bit of a poem whilst sitting next to it so I could call the poem "Lines composed next to Tennyson's Monument" - like Wordsworth's "Lines composed a few miles above Tintern Abbey." I'll try to post them one day. :)

After eating our pasties we set of back towards Freshwater via Freshwater Bay...

After that we went back to the tent and had some pasta and played cards. :) So all in all it was a VERY enjoyable day.

I'd better go now as this TV program is on that I'd like to watch. I don't know if you've heard of it - it's called 'Waterloo Road'? ;)

Ciao for now xxxxxx

Hi everyone - I'm really sorry - but I don't really have time to finish the camping post today. I've been trying to finish some things off for my music deadline and am knackered now so am off to bed. - If I finished it now then it would be a bit half-hearted as I can't seem to concentrate properly.

However, I'll try my best to finish it off tomorrow.

Hope you have/had a good day,

P.S - I also had my German Speaking exam today. I got a B but was hoping for an A. I got really nervous. Oh well.

Camping! Part 1

I'm back from a fantastic weekend of camping with my lovely boyfriend. :) It was great to go 'back to basics' and enjoy the simple things - walking, enjoying the sun and acting like proper grockles (Isle of Wight word for tourists). :)

So we arrived at our campsite on Saturday afternoon and set up our tent - which was actually a four man one - but it was good for us - I imagine it would've been pretty cosy for four!

Our tent is the closest to the camera - as you can see, the campsite was quite empty! It was a really nice site actually - good loos, clean etc. (O.K - so we weren't EXACTLY roughing it, but it felt like it.)

On Saturday afternoon we went out 'exploring' and walked into town to check out the shops and buy an ice cream and some playing cards - then we returned to the site and cooked our tea - chilli - mmmmmmm. :) Ben cooked :) I'm lucky - I have a pretty special cook for a boyfriend! :)

The next morning we got up and had bacon and eggs in pitta breads (cooked on the little stove we took with us) before setting off on a bit of an adventure. :)

We decided we'd walk to Alum Bay and then Tennyson Down and then back to Freshwater Bay and the campsite...I'll try to find a little map...

O.K. - It's not an amazing pic - but you get the idea! The route we took was the one that is turquoise on the map. We set off from the campsite in Freshwater and then walked along the beach at Colwell... a pretty gorgeous beach really and one that I don't think I'd seen before - Ben and I were continually saying how lucky we felt to live on the Island...

After walking along the beach we had to take a bit of a diversion to get the Needles - or Alum Bay - the very VERY western point of the Island, and ended up walking through a bit of a forest. I was a tad nervous that we were going to get a bit lost as everything seemed to look the same - but still had time to take some stupid piccies. :)

After walking through the foresty stuff for a bit we came to a clearing - which was very bizarre - it was like stepping onto a different planet - and a beautiful one at that...

After this we had to walk along some very narrow paths with spikey plants and nettles on either side (wish I hadn't worn shorts!) for quite a while before reaching the old battery from where we could see the Needles...

I'd better go to bed now, but I'll write some more tomorrow,

To be continued... ;)

Today I got up - and felt very prepared - a tad nervous! - but still prepared. I knew that I'd done my best to revise and learn my topic and that was all I could do. So I walked down the corridor and into the classroom where we wait before our exams, and a couple of minutes past 9 o'clock my teacher came to get me.

"Right Holly, I've got some bad news..."

The exam board had forgotten to send my exam paper.

How could that happen!? Apparently it was meant to arrive in March! - But school still hadn't received it. Our exams officer tried to follow it up this morning - asking where it was, and they said something along the lines of..."Oh. Yes. We'll just send it!" I think our headteacher also phoned the exam board to complain.

It's so incredibly annoying. I thought I was going to be able to have a nice relaxing bank holiday weekend - knowing that my speaking exam had been done!

This is going to be my last post for a couple of days by the way - I'm going camping with Ben. :) - which will be cool - hopefully it won't rain! I'll take some photos. I'll be away until Monday.

I'd better go now,

I hope you have/had a good day.xxxxxx

P.S - If you would ever like me to to talk about anything in particular/ask any questions then please just say in the comments. :)
